Taj Gateway Hotel

Taj Groups of Hotels along with investors Unique Properties are restarting their old hotel, situated only a few hundred metres from Asia’s only lion sanctuary. The riverbank is to the north with beautiful vistas of the hills beyond. The slight tilt of the hotel grounds gave the idea of gradually rising walls ending with paved platforms. The bright colours of the walls are set in contrast to the green of the plants and lawns. The existing big trees are used to develop several relaxing platforms under their shade. The rear side has a swimming pool with deck, and lawns with beautiful views of the river bed below. The planting along the edge is carefully designed to allow the visitors unobstructed views stretching to the river and the hills beyond. The planting species supports the idea of hospitality, luxury and the ecology of the gir forest.
