Farmhouse at Surat

The building is raised on the mounds, which are filled with construction spoil having only minimum soil thickness for the grass. The bases of these mounds have platforms which will have trees, eventually maintaining shades on the edges. The entry to the house is through stair from the parking to the upper floor, while the lower floor will only have stair, parking and caretakers’ room, while the main spaces are elevated. The extension of the main spaces is in the form of wooden platforms and look out on the mounds.
